The name “Die Agteros” refers to an old Afrikaans saying, meaning “the hind ox gets there eventually” – a nod to the vineyard’s humble beginnings and eventual recognition. Once overlooked, this lovingly tended vineyard now yields fruit of remarkable character and depth.
