Product Description

The Stark-Conde ‘Three Pines’ Cabernet Sauvignon is a highly acclaimed wine, having achieved five Platter 5-star awards, three Old Mutual Cabernet Trophy wins, and two trophy wins at the Six-Nations competition in Australia. This wine is made from a blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec, sourced from the Oude Nektar farm in Jonkershoek Valley. With a focus on select clones, this wine reflects the unique characteristics of the oldest block on the farm, boasting finely textured decomposed granite soil with rich clay content and distinctive floral notes. Meticulous vinification contributes to the exceptional balance between power and elegance, resulting in a lower than average alcohol level and exceptional fruit, acidity, and tannin balance. The result is a wine that showcases typical violet, cassis, and black cherry notes coupled with elegant tannins, making it an excellent addition to any collection or occasion. A total production of 6,655 bottles ensures the exclusivity and rarity that collectors prize.
