Stark-Conde Oude Nektar Cabernet Sauvignon

Arguably one of Stellenbosch’s highest Cabernet vineyards, this wine is crafted from the estate’s highest elevation vineyard situated at 550m. The site boasts stoney decomposed granite soils and an ideal aspect toward the afternoon sun. Despite being cooled by a gentle breeze, this vineyard benefits from an additional 45 minutes of sunlight daily, resulting in a slower ripening period. Following a Bordeaux-style blend, this wine is aged for approximately 20 months in French oak barrels, with 70% new oak, before being bottled without fining or filtration.
